The Rib Cage is a n little BBQ joint tucked away on the side of the road that's only open a few days ago week. I stopped in for lunch on a recommendation, and I'm glad I did. I sat at the bar and went with the lunch special, two pork chops smothered in the spicy bbq sauce, and a side of fresh cut fries. The chops were delicious and tender, the sauce had a nice spicy kick with some tang to it. The fries were perfect. And you get to snack on free peanuts, a nice touch.The people who worked there were all very nice. They recommend to call ahead so you don't have to wait if you're in in a hurry.

I am newly addicted to the food here. I stopped because we needed a new Lenten fish restaurant and the sign caught my eye. But the bbq smell drew me inside from the parking lot, it was enticing. The fish sandwiches are hugh and very tasty. The huluski is perfect with a nice sized portion. I read the menu to my hubby and now we are going back for bbq tomorrow! EXCELLENT ALL AROUND!!

I have eaten there for a long time. I tell everyone about it. The food is great, i like the sweet and tangy, the fries are really good, but the potatoe salad is the best. I prefer the riblets to chops, only because riblets are boneless. The owners are real good people. If you don't try it your are missing out off the best rib joint in the valley.

I’ve been riding past this place for years and finally stoped in and glad i did. You walk in and there is a little bar to sit at. Beyond that is the fire pit where they do the cooking over a wood fire. The aroma from the cooking is fantastic! I got a 1/2 rack of ribs and can make 3 meals from them. They were great. I can’t wait to try out the test that on the menu. Keep up the great work guys, you got a new customer.

It was really busy Surprising they had everything ready in 35 minutes. We ordered a lot and everything was perfect . It don't matter what you get you'll be % satisfied I give them a 5 star rating!

If you like Mon Valley BBQ sauce this is the place to go. Tomato based sauce with a kick. I'd recommend mixing the Sweet & Tangy with either the mild or hot sauce. Try a platter to get a bit of everything. If you're a Turners Tea fan they have plenty on hand to wash down all the delicious BBQ. Service can get overwhelmed when they get busy and everything is cook-to-order so you may have to wait a bit for your food but it's worth it.

This is my new favorite bbq. My fiance and I stopped on a Saturday afternoon and we were treated like family. We were blown away by the food. It was excellent. Their sauce is amazing. Everything is homemade. Highly recommend.

Very nice place with fantastic service and great food! I have been procrastinating stopping here for awhile now and am glad I finally did. I was welcomed by a cozy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. They are also not lazy as the place was decorated very nicely for Halloween. The person that waited on me was very pleasant and helpful. Without asking she also brought out samples of their sauce with fresh bread to help make a decision. The sauces are tomato based and in my opinion very tasty and well thought out. This is Mon Valley BBQ as advertised. Please ignore the less than perfect other reviews from customers who didn't do their research before ordering. The sauces are very good. Everything I saw and ordered was cooked with love over a indoor wood burning open pit. The smells emanating from this place have always been and were amazing. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and ghost pepper fries and am very impressed with the quality. Also the prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes. Do not eat breakfast before coming here! You will not leave broke or hungry. Please stop in and patronize this wonderful business. I will be back practically every weekend moving forward!
